InEvent at IMEX America

When you enter IMEX’s website, you’re welcomed with an impressive advertising: “IMEX, The heartbeat of the global business events community”. Well, it seems true for those who work in the event industry.

Every year, event planners and tourism professionals around the world waits for one of the biggest trade shows in EUA and Europe. It is a place for innovation, education, and networking with major brands, advertisers, agencies, and more. IMEX helps to connect with people from many different contexts, those who love to learn and to work on the event marketing industry. Twice a year, their trade shows IMEX in Frankfurt and IMEX America (in Las Vegas) host over 13.500 visitors.

InEvent attended IMEX for the first time years ago. It was always amazing, even in Frankfurt or America. The global startup is a frequent exhibitor and also, our CEO, Pedro Góes, already gave a lecture in 2018 edition, about digital transformation in events. ” IMEX brings the best scenario in terms of people, knowledge, and connections in the event industry. One more time, InEvent was able to deliver new ideas and content in a live event for our peers. It was a great moment to hear from the companies what they are looking for and learn more to build better products”, said Vinicius Neris, Chief Revenue Officer at InEvent.

The exhibition itself was amazing in Las Vegas this year. Thousands of buyers and attendees looking for destinations, event management tools and new technology to integrate with their services and provide for their clients, event attendees, employees, customers and much more.

This year, the InEvent booth was located in the Technology pavilion. The company presented its NFC bands. You may already saw this here. NFC bands are a waterproof bracelet for access control and identification of participants. The NFC bracelets are made of silicone and can be customized with the colors and icons of the event customer. Also, it can be used to identify the participant at various times, such as the arrival of the event, consumption of products, and more.

We showcased our NFC technology with live demos on how we could help, better attendee experience at events, conferences and corporate travels. Many of our visitors were wowed by the NFC check-in service and especially the real-time data that comes with it, allowing you to search for specific people in specific places in real-time and reports that pull data such as the time spent in certain areas of the event and average times of check-ins. Many people came around InEvent’s booth and could learn more about digital transformation on events from our solutions“, said Peter Grant, Customer Success Global at InEvent.

Furthermore, the visitors took some photos in our booth (with #InEventatIMEX on social media) and we draw one of them to win an amazing headphone. Did you see it?

“We came away with further knowledge on what people in our industry are looking for to control their events and give their attendees a better experience”, said Peter Grant.

Neris concludes: “It’s pretty interesting to see at the live event many people that are connected throughout InEvent brand. We don’t need to be in presence necessarily to be at IMEX. All the social media, newsletters, podcasts and blogs allow us to be connected in advance. The best moments are to meet InEvent customers and partners at the corners and sessions at IMEX: it creates unexpected good moments to remember until the next time.” Summing up, it was another amazing year of IMEX America!
