Prostate Cancer Radiation Treatment: SpaceOAR™ Hydrogel

Background:
Dr. Elisha Fredman completed his undergraduate degree at Brandeis University in Boston and trained in radiation oncology at the Seidman Cancer Center of University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Fredman is now the Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at University Hospital Geauga Medical Center and an Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Fredman is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American College of Radiology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American College of Physicians. He is on the Editorial Boards for the Journal of Contemporary Brachytherapy, Radiation Oncology, and the Journal of Radiation Oncology. He has published several peer reviewed articles and abstracts focusing on prostate, cervix, rectal and anal cancer as well as paediatric Hodgkin's lymphoma. He also has a published book chapter in Advances for Radiotherapy for Prostate Cancer Treatment. Dr. Fredman actively accrues to clinical trials and serves as PI for two ongoing prospective trials.
