About

Leaders. Lived experience. Real solutions. GreenShield’s signature annual event "Innovating with Purpose: Closing Canada’s Care Gap", invites you to learn how purpose‑driven innovation can unlock equitable, system‑level change.

Hear directly from experts, community partners, policymakers, industry leaders, and people with lived experience as they share insights and evidence on removing barriers and accelerating system level improvements. Together, they will explore how sectors can work in alignment to close gaps across the health care system — including in women’s health and youth mental health — and highlight innovative approaches that advance equitable, accessible care.

Panels:

Youth Mental Health: Investing in the Next Generation
: This discussion looks at the growing mental health needs of young people and the barriers that prevent them from getting timely support. Panelists will share practical examples of early‑intervention and culturally informed approaches that are helping youth stay well and succeed.

Innovating in Women’s Health: Women continue to face gaps in care at key stages of life. This panel examines solutions in areas such as fertility, caregiving, hormonal health, and menopause, highlighting models that improve access to coordinated, whole‑person care.

Scaling Equitable Solutions: From Pilot to System Change: Many effective programs don’t reach the scale needed to make a system‑level impact. This session explores what enables growth—sustainable funding, policy alignment, and cross‑sector collaboration—so proven solutions can reach more people and deliver lasting change.
