Jordan Water Infrastructure Projects Webinar

Jordan is one of the world's most water-scarce countries, driving continued development and investment in new water supply, wastewater treatment, and water reuse infrastructure along with more efficient water use. Under Jordan's National Water Strategy 2023–2040, the sector is advancing major infrastructure projects with support from the Government of Jordan, international donors - of which the United States Government is the largest -and development finance institutions.

Among the most significant upcoming opportunities for U.S. companies are the supply of goods and services for large diameter pipelines, tanks, and pump stations under the National Conveyance Project (NCP) Readiness Program. The NCP is Jordan's first desalination project. The NCP Readiness Program encompasses the infrastructure and preparatory works required to convey desalinated water from the NCP and distribute it throughout Jordan, representing nearly $1 billion in planned projects. Additional opportunities include the design, construction, and operation of a new Wadi Zarqa Wastewater Treatment Plant. This multi-hundred-million-dollar project is expected to become Jordan's second largest wastewater treatment facility by 2030.
