Frankfurt, Germany, June 2022. InEvent, the enterprise event management platform for in-person, hybrid, and virtual experiences, participated in IMEX Frankfurt 2022 by hosting a series of live broadcasts and industry conversations from one of the world's largest gatherings for meetings, incentives, conferences, and events professionals.
Held from May 31 to June 2 in Frankfurt, IMEX brought together more than 2,500 exhibitors from over 150 countries, along with event planners, destinations, venues, suppliers, and technology providers from across the global events industry. Throughout the event, InEvent connected onsite and virtual audiences through live interviews, educational sessions, and discussions focused on the trends shaping the future of events.
Hosted by Cecilia Lavin, the live broadcast series featured conversations with respected industry leaders, including Adam Parry, co-founder of Event Tech Live and Event Industry News; diversity and inclusion advocate Gabrielle Austen Browne; creative strategist Robert Dunsmore; futurehain co-founder Felix Rundel; and human connection expert Traci Ruble. Together, the discussions explored some of the most important challenges and opportunities facing event professionals.
A recurring theme throughout the event was the continued evolution of hybrid events. Industry experts discussed how technology can help create stronger networking opportunities, improve attendee engagement, and bridge the gap between in-person and remote audiences. Conversations also explored how organizers can use data, content, and digital experiences to extend the impact of an event before, during, and after.
Accessibility and inclusion emerged as another major focus. Speakers highlighted the importance of creating events that are welcoming and accessible to all attendees, and examined how event technology can support more inclusive experiences in both physical and virtual environments. Sustainability also remained a central topic, with discussions centered around creating purpose-driven events that balance attendee experience with environmental responsibility.
Perhaps most notably, the event reinforced the growing importance of human connection in an increasingly digital world. Conversations explored how event professionals can build stronger relationships, foster meaningful engagement, and create experiences that leave lasting impressions long after an event concludes.
“IMEX Frankfurt provided an incredible opportunity to bring together diverse perspectives from across the global events industry,” said the InEvent team. “While technology continues to evolve rapidly, one message remained consistent throughout every conversation: successful events ultimately come down to creating meaningful human connections.”
The event highlighted how event professionals are increasingly balancing innovation with attendee experience, using technology not simply to automate processes but to create more engaging, inclusive, and impactful events.
InEvent’s participation at IMEX Frankfurt 2022 reflected the company's commitment to advancing conversations around event technology, accessibility, sustainability, and the future of event experiences worldwide.
