Privacy Notice

The Brazilian National Confederation of Industry - CNI, headquartered at SBN, Quadra 1, Bloco C, Ed. Roberto Simonsen, Brasília-DF, CNPJ/MF nº 33.665.126/000134 (hereinafter CNI), will hold, free of charge for the guest public, the 38th GERMAN-BRAZILIAN ECONOMIC MEETING, in a hybrid format, with in-person and virtual activities, reflecting a view and adaptation to the new times and also care and attention to the pandemic scenario in which we are living. The event will be held on October 18th, 2021, and will be co-organized by Federation of German Industries - BDI. Your appropriate participation during the event, and the use of your personal data in compliance with legal parameters are important to us. Therefore, this term of use and privacy policy explains the participation in the event, and the processes of handling with personal data involved in the action, how CNI process them and for what purposes. By registering for the event, you agree to the terms of this document.

1. Privacy Commitment

CNI have a commitment to their users toward following the rules of this privacy policy, which will be available at the link .

2. Data collected

When you register, you must provide the following data requested on the registration form available at the link.

Full name, name for credential, position, CPF, e-mail, city of residence, cell phone, age group, participation profile, gender, name of the company you work for, CNPJ, size and sector of the company.

The registered user is entirely responsible for the misuse or misappropriation of their credentials of access, negligent or malicious conduct as a consequence of acts or omissions on their part or of someone authorized on their behalf.

3. How to check the accuracy of your personal data

It is essential that you fill out the registration form correctly, properly and completely. Any false and/or inaccurate information may be verified and will render the informer ineligible for registering in the event, or even lead to the cancellation of the registration, in case it has already been completed.

Should there be any need to change or correct any data entered in the registration form, the user may contact CNI on sdi@cni.com.br, providing right information and requesting the correction of incorrect data.

4. For what purpose the data collected are used

The registration and the data informed are necessary for CNI to know the profile of the audience that intends to attend the events that make up the 38th German-Brazilian Economic Meeting, which will also allow the improvement of similar events eventually held in the future. The data collected will also allow the control of the proper use of the platform and participation in the event, also avoiding the occurrence of conducts considered inappropriate, pursuant to this document.

The personal data collected by CNI may also be used for the following purposes:

Send to the informed e-mail address reminders/notices about the 38th GERMAN-BRAZILIAN ECONOMIC MEETING;
Send to the informed e-mail reminders/notices about actions of CNI;
Carry out the survey on the 38th GERMAN-BRAZILIAN ECONOMIC MEETING;

In addition to the purposes set forth in this policy, personal data may be processed to meet legal or regulatory obligations of CNI.

5. How we protect your personal data

The information is used by authorized and qualified personnel to perform the functions related to the 38th GERMAN-BRAZILIAN ECONOMIC MEETING.

CNI have adopted suitable measures to ensure the platform security, considering the technology available at the present time, aimed mainly at preventing unauthorized access, improper use, unauthorized disclosure or modification, and illegal destruction or accidental loss of personal data.

Any problems related to information security that affect the personal data of the participants will be duly communicated directly through the registered e-mail.

6. Participation in the event

Recordings and audio and/or video transmissions of the event’s content, by any means, is not allowed at any time, either during or after the event.

The participant recognizes that, in case of violation of the above rule, as well as of the copyrights inherent to the event materials, CNI, as well as the holder of the violated copyrights, have the prerogative to immediately prevent the practice of audio and/or video recordings or transmissions of the event content, regardless of any prior notice. Moreover, depending on the specificity of the case, such practice may result in civil and/or criminal liability of the offender, under the terms of Law 9.160/1998, as well as articles 186 and 927 of the Brazilian Civil Code and article 184 of the Brazilian Criminal Code.

Any need of transmission outside the environments approved by the promoters and organizers of the event must be formally validated and authorized in advance, always in writing.

7. Programming

The lectures and other presentations may be altered according to the compatibility of the speakers’ schedules, or for any other reason that may be required, without prior notice.

CNI have no influence or responsibility whatsoever over the content presented by the event’s speakers, presenters and co-presenters, and are exempt from any liability in the event of any complaints shall the content of the activities be considered offensive by any person.

Any and all offers, publicity actions, advertising or activities carried out by the co-organizers and sponsors are their sole responsibility, and CNI shall not be held liable for the actions carried out by them, even if during the event.

9. Acceptance

I declare I have read and agree with the rules and regulations of the event, agreeing to its terms, especially with the use of personal data provided in the event registration form for all purposes specifically informed, in accordance with Law No. 13.709/2018 (General Law of Personal Data Protection - LGPD).

10. Revocation of Consent

The consent for the processing of personal data may be revoked at any time, by express manifestation of the registered user, through the e-mail sdi@cni.com.br, which will imply the elimination or return of the data provided. This request will automatically imply the cancellation of your registration in the meeting, shall it occur before or during the event.
