Prior to starting in the Financial Services Industry, Bert grew up on a family farm in Manitoba. Shortly before being introduced to WFG, he was a derrick hand in the Oil & Gas sector, working in harsh, cold conditions. Bert is no stranger to hard work, dedication and focus.

He initially became a client with WFG. Working in Oil & Gas he just knew he was meant for something more - something greater. Shortly after, he was offered the Business Opportunity with WFG. Because of his background, he was the perfect candidate for diligence, perseverance and focus in mastering this craft; which is exactly what he is known for.

His first full year in business was a challenging one, as he didn’t know anyone in Alberta and struggled to build a team and make any money. But his work ethic, discipline and persistence as well as mastering the skills of the business helped him earn over $100,000/yr as a Marketing Director and achieved his SMD promotion in the same week. With the commitment to these standards of excellence, soon after becoming an SMD, his earnings surpassed $250,000/yr. 20 years later, he has built a world-class team and achieved his CEO promotion level in the Company and his current earnings are in excess of $500,000/yr.

Through the WFG platform, he has built 100+ licensed leaders and promoted 10 SMD's. What is most gratifying to Bert is serving others and helping individuals win. He has contributed to helping 6 leaders earn over $100,000/yr in his agency with lots more to come. What excites Bert the most is his vision in the next 3-5 years. His agency has evolved and elevated into builders with discipline, clarity, and everything they need in place to double and triple in size in the next 2-5 years.

Prior to starting in the financial industry, Carl was a journeyman tradesman. He was invited to a Business Presentation Meeting and was overwhelmed by the financial education that he received, but even more so by the incredible opportunity to build his own business through helping others.

His first full year in the business he earned less than $1,000 after quitting his full-time job as a unionized tradesman. A few short years later Carl went on to be one of the fastest leaders in the history of the company to earn over $1,000,000 per year. Today, 20+ years later he has achieved the highest level in the company as a Senior Executive Vice Chairman.

Through the business platform, he has helped over 1,000 people become licensed and promoted close to 200 SMDs. What he is most proud of is he has helped over 100 leaders earn in excess of $100,000/yr. Carl believes what has been built in the first 20 years will be a very small part of what will be built in the next 3-5 years.

Aldrin grew up as an average student with average grades. He was easily remembered because he was always the last person picked in gym class. At a young age, Aldrin struggled to fit in and wanted to find his purpose.

At the age of 19, WFG was introduced to him by his parents. His parents’ example of success in WFG solidified his belief that hard work can truly pay off.

Over the last 10 years, Aldrin has discovered that purpose is not something that's found. Purpose is developed through taking action and having total commitment. His purpose was developed sitting across the kitchen table with families and helping teammates achieve financial independence. 

Aldrin met the love of his life in WFG and they are now partners in the business. He is an Executive Marketing Director with the company earning over $250,000 per year.

Duncan grew up in Fort McMurray, Alberta in an Oil and Gas family. As grateful as he was to grow up in a safe and secure household, Duncan realized how much his parents had missed out on chasing their own goals and dreams. After graduating from the University of Alberta, Duncan and his girlfriend (now wife Kristine) followed their first dream and moved to the Caribbean. Spending two years living in the Cayman Islands as a bartender and travelling the world, instilled in him a great passion for travel and living life. 

 

Duncan came back to Canada with his wife, going to school to become a teacher and Duncan searching for something that would allow him to build the life he wanted for his family. To the surprise of his family, he chose not to work at the Oil Sands plants back home, but to start a business with WFG. With no background in finance or business, this was considered a huge leap. Especially with a spouse heading to school at the same time. Through hard work and a lot of personal growth Duncan was able to build a business with WFG.

 

Through the last 20 years, Duncan has become a 6 figure earning SMD and built a family life he could only have dreamed of as a child. All while still being able to travel the world, help families and feel great pride in this business that allows him to make a difference in so many peoples lives. And now with the ELG, the Great Wealth Transfer and the state of the world today, Duncan's vision is to be a massive contributor to the 25,000 licenses the ELG will build in the next 10 years. Through our system and the ELG platform, Duncan believes that everyone, regardless of background, can build a business that creates the life of their dreams.

Jacki was raised in a family business from a very young age. Her parents taught her the value of a strong work ethic and teamwork. She was fortunate to have spent 26 years working alongside her parents, learning the skills necessary to become a strong and independent Businesswoman. Jacki was taught that with hard work and determination you can accomplish anything. Although she loved the art industry, after being introduced to World Financial Group, she soon realized that is where she truly belonged. WFG not only provided the platform to build an incredible income within the Financial Industry, but it also gave her the opportunity to be present in her children's lives.

With the lessons she had taken from years in business and her newfound passion for helping families lead better and more informed lives, she launched into a new career with WFG. Over the past 15 years, Jacki has grown her business by empowering others to take advantage of this incredible business platform and help clients make better financial decisions.

Jason was born and raised in Edmonton, grew up in a blue collared family where his dad worked as a police officer and his mom worked as an office manager for a small company.  They gave his sister and Jason a great upbringing with sports and a vacation every year to the family cabin.  Jason always knew when he was growing up that he wanted to help people and make a difference in their lives. 

At the age of 5, he set his sights on becoming a firefighter and when he was 21, he got hired by the city of Edmonton, and he remembers saying to himself, "I did it!"  He did everything he was told to do; go get a job with benefits and a pension and you’ll be ok.  He loved everything about his career except in his first few years he found himself struggling financially and wasn’t able to get ahead, he always felt like there was more month than money.

Jason was introduced to World Financial Group and was blown away by the difference they made for him financially. He instantly saw the opportunity to share this information with others and began working with the company and building a business alongside his fire department career.  It took only a few years for him to transition to a full-time career with WFG.  His wife, Shauna and Jason are blessed with 2 children and are grateful for the opportunities that WFG has blessed their family with so far.  They are excited and focused on continuing to build their WFG business across North America and helping as many families as they can, to experience the opportunities that WFG has to offer.

Prior to starting with World Financial Group, Joyce was a Registered Nurse for ten years, working in one of the busiest hospitals in the lower mainland at the Vancouver General Hospital where she specialized in Burns and Trauma.

After working 50 - 60 hours a week at the bedside, she found herself still living paycheque to paycheque and in-over-my-head in student loan debt. She found herself questioning what she thought was a dream career – helping and healing families. She was frustrated that she could work so hard and still feel like she was in the same place after 10 years. It propelled her to look at different opportunities.

In 2013 she was introduced to WFG after looking at a few other companies in the financial industry; what had intrigued her the most was that she did not have to quit her career as a Registered Nurse and could start in the part-time training program with WFG. Two years later she was earning as much part-time with WFG than with her full-time nursing career. Shortly after, while still part-time with WFG she was promoted to Senior Marketing Director. A year later she was able to retire from her established nursing career and became full-time with WFG. Her income soared over $100,000/yr., and today earns close to a multiple six-figure income.

Joyce has established herself as is one of the fastest-growing leaders in WFG Canada.  She feels she has done nothing compared to what she is on track to accomplish in the next 3-5 years.

In 2004, Kevin started WFG as a part-time agent while working in the retail industry from selling footwear to computers, you name it he has attempted to sell it. His family was experiencing the stress of being over six figures in debt and with no help from the traditional institutions it felt as if there was no way out. Until he was introduced to WFG.

Grateful for the invite to his first BPM in 2004, Kevin quickly learned that he can not only gain amazing financial education and learn how money works,  he learned he can be more and make more money than in the retail industry and, far greater than he ever imagined - to help support his parents and siblings. He found this opportunity to build his own business through the financial industry and help others build themselves a big business as well. 

After getting licensed and simultaneously working in the field, it was only 18 short months, until he was able to earn enough money to replace his retail income - that’s when Kevin decided to become full-time and, soon after his own siblings joined him who have both developed into growing and thriving leaders.

Today, Kevin is an Executive Marketing Director on track to becoming a near term CEO MD, he is excited about impacting individuals with their own personal growth and especially seeing the thousands of families whom he has positively helped along the way.                 

Kevin is enthusiastic to take his agency over 1,000 licenses over the next 3-5 years and continually expand and serve families across Canada and USA.

Kitty was in the accounting industry for five years, climbing the typical corporate ladder.  She followed the traditional route of going to school and getting a good job.  Although she reached great success in her career, Kitty felt under achieved and not fulfilled in life.  She always had a passion to help and serve others, but felt she lacked the platform to do so.  This was when Kitty was presented with the World Financial Group business opportunity by her older brother, Kevin Yuen. Since then she has used her experience of her family struggling financially, being over six figures in debt, and living pay cheque to pay cheque to relate and inspire others.  She has set out a mission to coach others on how to buy back their lives just like she has.

 Today, having been in this business for over ten years, Kitty is now a Senior Marketing Director with World Financial Group, leading an established team of agents from various different backgrounds.  Kitty is extremely proud to be running a fast-growing financial brokage with her brother, and together achieving their family’s legacy.  More importantly, she is now able to educate others about money, and the importance of achieving financial independence; valuable lessons that her family didn’t have the opportunity to learn due to the nature of the traditional financial institutions.

 As an influential female leader in the financial industry, she believes with great certainty; she can reach thousands and thousands more. Her vision is to expand her business across North America as she continues to empower others to do the same, to have the courage to break out of the traditional route and go buy back their life.

Kurtis was working at the Real Canadian Superstore when he was introduced to WFG. His friend called him saying he should check out this company. Although Kurtis was skeptical, his friend challenged him to keep the interview that he had set up for him. After seeing what WFG could do for people, he started part-time with them. Within 13 months of being with WFG part-time, he was earning half of his Superstore salary. He then decided that this was a career he could build on and win for his family.

His full-time career started, and in a short 20 years, he has built an organization that has helped thousands of families win the money game. In this time, he has promoted many individuals to SMD to run their own brokerage.

 Today Kurtis and his fiancée Tara are building a family business together, where their kids could take over their business. They have become great business partners and they have earned millions of dollars over their career! This is why they persevere.

From a young age, Lee, always knew he wanted to become an entrepreneur. Coming from a family full of professionals he knew earlier on that he’d have to forge a different career path.

When the business was introduced to Lee at the age of 19, he knew right away that this opportunity was exactly what he’s been looking for. Although starting this business was simple, the journey was far from easy.

11 years later Lee is now a Senior Marketing Director and together with his wife has begun to build the life of their dreams through World Financial Group. He’s since brought on his dad and sister and altogether have started laying down a solid foundation for intergenerational wealth.

Having matured through the challenges and adversity has made Lee the person he is today. He believes that if you’re not willing to risk the usual, you will have to settle for the ordinary.

Born and raised in Edmonton, AB. Mark grew up in a split family with a total of eight brothers and sisters. Life was always busy, but always in a good way. Mark saw all his parents work very hard to give them the best possible things and his parents were all amazing in supporting Mark in every way.

Mark loved playing sports and doing the outdoor adventure trips with his family, camping and skiing across Alberta and BC each year. Mark would have to say he had a great childhood and years in school. But going through high school Mark never had that purpose or burning desire for a particular career or dream job.

So, Mark decided to work with his dad and look at taking over his construction business. It was good, but not great, and Mark did not see himself enjoying construction for the rest of his life. After that, it was 7+ years with Earl’s restaurants, where he did become Regional Chef of Edmonton and northern Alberta. But again, with limited income and no security, he knew he had to find something better.

WFG found Mark in 2004. Mark had a burning desire to change his life and stop just surviving paycheck to paycheck. Mark loved WFG right from the beginning and put 100% into it to change his life. It was less than two years to SMD and over $100K, and after five years completely debt-free.

Mark believes anyone can win in WFG, but he knows it takes that burning desire to make the 100% commitment to achieve that success. Renee and Mark will impact thousands of families and will continue to look for those other people that just want a shot and a chance to buy their life back!
