Dr. Sameh Yamany is the CTO of VIAVI Solutions, where he drives innovation and execution of the company-wide technology roadmap and vision. He was the CEO and President of Trendium (acquired by JDSU in 2013), a market disruptor in Customer Experience Assurance.

Dr. Yamany's industry experience also includes his senior executive role at Tektronix Communications (acquired by Netscout), where he set the vision and development of the Iris wireless and wireline monitoring and troubleshooting suite of applications. Dr. Yamany worked as an assistant professor at Old Dominion University in Virginia and has a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Louisville, USA. He has authored several patents and more than 50 journals, conference publications, and book chapters in artificial intelligence, telecommunications, and biomedical engineering.

Daniel Ramirez is the head of RAN Solutions for Europe at TEOCO. He’s a mobile communications and business development professional who has been regularly meeting decision-makers throughout the Americas, Europe, Africa, MENA, and APAC over the last 15 years. Daniel is experienced in radio access design, optimization, and geo-location technologies, as well as on the impact of IoT, Smart Cities, Connected Cars, and 5G technologies on Mobile Networks. He has cross-industry experience in Manufacturing and is bilingual in English & Spanish.

John Afa is an application engineer at Wavecontrol. Currently, he is responsible for exploring new applications and product development. He is also involved with Wavecontrol customers in providing technical support, product demonstrations, application notes, and training services worldwide.

Engineer with more than 15 years of experience. Experience in sales, technical support and management of technical resources, people and processes. Keeping in touch with the newest and most advanced telecommunication technologies and equipment.  Strong experience in monitoring, maintenance, and turn-up tests and processes in modern IP networks.

Philippe has 30 + years of experience in Telecom’s area, in various R&D, marketing, and sales positions, in systems and semiconductor companies. He has spent 15 years focusing on network timing solutions, chips, and servers, and has been for the last 13 years developing the business in EMEA for Symmetricom, Microsemi, and now Microchip’s Frequency and Time Systems. 

Bryan is a product manager at Calnex Solutions in Linlithgow, Scotland. He has a background in a variety of industries including Telecommunications, Aerospace Defence and Medical having worked at Honeywell, Agilent and Hewlett Packard.

Dimitris Loukas is a Solution Consultant with VIAVI Solutions since 2011. In this position, he is continuously improving brand awareness and customer service by providing pre-sales services for fiber monitoring. Before joining VIAVI he had worked as a Systems Engineer for a Telecom company in Athens. Dimitris is highly skilled in understanding customer needs and pain points and demonstrates excellent product and service knowledge.

Prior to his current role, Giacomo was Sales Specialist for Battery and Power Applications for the Automotive and Energy Solution group of Keysight Technologies.
Giacomo graduated in electronic engineering from the University of Cagliari.

Francesco Spadafora works at Keysight Technologies as an RF and µW Solution Engineer and he is part of the Solution Engineer Organization inside Keysight.
The main work areas are Aerospace and defense, Wireless and Telecommunication in all EMEA. Francesco holds a master’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering and a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technologies. He is also an author and co-author of several scientific papers.

Valentina Stevanović, a bachelor of electrical engineering, is a part of the technical team of the Test and Measurement Division at Ibis Instruments. She possesses practical knowledge and understanding of Synchronization, Ethernet, transport systems, and QoS / QoE monitoring and therefore is responsible for carrying out the projects within these fields. Besides the abovementioned Valentina is responsible for technical support within her team.

Recently celebrated a successful 11-year career in the ICT industry, having had the pleasure of working with global vendors like HP, Fujitsu, VIAVI, Keysight, Fujikura, Microchip, Narda, and most recently Wavecontrol.  During his career, Uros was fortunate to work across the disciplines of digitalization, automation, telecommunication, and the IT Datacenter industry. Had the pleasure to work with most quality staff (ICT engineers) from main CSP and Utility companies in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Macedonia and Slovenia. His goal is to continue with professional improvement in the field of telecommunication technical and practical knowledge of test and measurement systems, by understanding the needs of biggest market enterprises, to create and improve infrastructure TELCO projects with comprehensive solutions.
