Dionne Bishop

Dionne Bishop is the founder of Events by Dionne Inc with 15 years of experience in the event and marketing worlds, Dionne has planned and overseen many corporate and social events across major markets in Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean. Dionne is known for her ability to strategically plan creative, results-driven events that help her clients increase brand awareness, strengthen client loyalty and become a memorable experience talked about for months to come.  Dionne's love for travel, fashion, music, and food provides her with a constant source of inspiration for any event concept she produces.  Her ability to match creativity and logistical precision allows for events to not only look and feel good but to be executed seamlessly as well. 


Always advocating for the industry, Dionne was an active member of the ILEA Toronto Chapter and served as its President in 2015 - 2016.  She became Gala Chair in 2017 and now sits on the MPI Toronto DEI Task Force 2021 and is a Board Member of the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario (TIAO).


In 2008 Dionne was at Canada’s largest Entertainment and Business Events Venue, marketing and producing events for its 3 main brands -- Exhibition Place, (formerly called) Direct Energy Centre, and (formerly called) Allstream Centre. In 2016, Dionne began freelancing for various organizations and in 2020 as a direct result of the pandemic became the founder of Events by Dionne Inc. an event agency for diverse voices. Dionne has now married a love of events with the ever changing technology of today, to produce virtual events in partnership with some of the most creative and diverse people around.

Marlys Arnold

Trade Show Consultant & Author @ Exhibit Marketers Cafe

Over the past two decades, Marlys Arnold has helped thousands of trade
show exhibitors gather more qualified leads, outshine their competition,
and maximize their exhibiting investment. She’s written two books on the
subject: Build a Better Trade Show Image and Exhibit Design That Works.
She’s the founder of the Exhibit Marketers Café and Exhibit Marketers
Academy, an online education community. In addition to being a familiar
industry voice in various publications and podcasts, she also hosts the
Trade Show Insights blog and podcast.

With experience as both an exhibitor and event organizer – earlier this
summer, she hosted an online event called “Spark: Reimagine Expos &
Events” – Marlys brings a fresh perspective to trade show marketing and
provides techniques to put into action immediately. And while you may
not be comfortable with how a virtual trade show works, Marlys is. She’s
seen the good, the bad, and the ugly … and she wants to show you how to
be one of the best!

Michelle Dallas

Events & Fulfillment Manager @ TMA

Michelle Dallas got her start in the Food & Beverage industry before she could see over the kitchen counter of her grandparent’s restaurant and catering business. After graduating from Kendall College for Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management, Michelle worked her way up the ranks and all over the industry as a line cook, server, bartender, catering sales manager, venue manager, marketing consultant, wedding planner and large-scale event producer. Now, as the Events & Fulfillment Manager (and self-proclaimed Event Technologist) of Turnaround Management Association, she designs and executes multi-day conferences in various cities and most recently the good old world wide web. She ensures to always deliver the best new trends, vividly effective color palettes, cutting edge food & beverage features, and stimulating experiential aspects in live, virtual, and hybrid events. Michelle is based in Chicago but brings events to life all over the world!

William Giacomolli

With more than 8 years of experience in the Events Industry, Will has managed and produced events such as Virgin Australia Fashion Week, Ultra Music Festival, UFC, Formula 1, Australian Open, Google Masterclass, Oracle Dev Summit, and many others. He had the pleasure of thinking, developing, and contributing to over the moon experiences delivering hundreds of concerts and sports events across 4 different stadiums in Australia. In Brazil, Will has managed events in Education, Fashion, Beauty, and of course, Festivals and Club Parties. Now, Will leads a team of event experts at InEvent, working to create life-changing events, both virtual and in-person, always looking to go beyond and excel in everything we do.
