Daniel D. Janka is President & CEO of Mazak Corporation, a machine tool and related automation provider to the aerospace, energy, medical, heavy equipment and general manufacturing industries. In this role, Mr. Janka is responsible for all North American Operations including sales, marketing, business development, fiscal functions, engineering, production, and service.
From 2005 to 2013 Mr. Janka served on the AMT (Association of Manufacturing Technology) Board of Directors including eighteen months as Chairman. In addition, he served on AMT’s Government Relations Committee and remains an active member of the National Association for Manufacturing (NAM) and National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA).
In the past Mr. Janka has served on SME’s (Society of Manufacturing Engineers) Manufacturing Enterprise Council, and AMT’s Technical Advisory Committee on export control.
Mr. Janka had the honor to serve on President Obama’s U.S. Manufacturing Revitalization Task Force Board in 2010.
With over a decade of experience in the machine tool industry, Teelin Henderson has been with Mazak for the past two years. He started first as a direct sales representative and is currently a Multi-Tasking product specialist. He also hosts Mazak’s All Axes podcast series.
Machining Center Product Group Manager Jared Leick has been a member of the Mazak team since 2013, when he first joined the company through a cooperative education program. After two years of getting his start in the Sales Engineering department following his graduation from college, he moved to the Machining Center Product Group to oversee its efforts and further improve the quality and efficiency of Mazak’s wide range of HMCs, VMCs and more. Jared earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical and manufacturing engineering from Northern Kentucky University and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Xavier University.
Mike Finn has been with Mazak Corporation as an engineer for twenty years and specializes in process development on gear cutting, 5-axis machining and additive manufacturing. He holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Cincinnati College of Applied Science.
Mike has delivered manufacturing solutions for customers throughout his 40+ years in the machine tool industry. As a member of the Mazak Corporation team for over 16 years, Mike has managed and participated in both Application Engineering and Product Management roles. Mike’s experience provides him with a clear understanding of workholding, tooling and programming considerations.
