Thank you for joining us at one of our Science Divisions Online Symposia. We’re really glad that you’re here and hope that you enjoy the sessions that you attend, whichever they might be.

Our next Symposia will take place on Wednesday 16 December 2020, join us at 10am for our Dalton Division session.

Whether you’re here to support your Division, learn about a new one, or are new to the RSC, we hope that you take the opportunity to learn about the latest research across the chemical sciences and connect with the speakers and your fellow attendees.

Our community is all about sharing knowledge and ideas, and we’re committed to helping you engage with like-minded communities. We hope that this symposia series will showcase the extraordinary talent of our members – including some of our talented early career researchers - and give you the chance to connect and network.

To access the talks please click on the relevant session box below.

During the session

To ask a question or make a comment during moments of Q&A, you should indicate this to the session chair by typing the word “question” or “comment” into the chat function of the platform.

The session chair may invite you to join the session as a presenter to ask your question verbally; this will require that you share your audio/camera which will take a few seconds. Once you have asked your question / made your comment and received an answer, you will be returned to viewer-only mode.

Networking

Networking will take place here in the lobby where you will be able to join existing networking rooms or initiate one-to-one chats. You will be able to use your microphone and camera.

To create a group room, simply click on the name of the person you would like to speak to and select if you would like to have a private or public conversation.

For a public conversation, other delegates can join your chat room.

You can also send messages to delegates by using the chat function in the top right of this page.
