Dr. Raj Bhui
Physician @ Fraser Health
Dr. Bhui is a triple US board-certified physician practicing in BC with multinational practice experience including general and subspecialty medicine in the inpatient, outpatient, and virtual settings. Beyond direct clinical care, his background includes information technology, healthcare policy, and business administration, and he has further training and experience in healthcare leadership, quality improvement, innovation, biodesign, and governance.
Passionate about teaching, he has lectured internationally in addition to training undergraduate and postgraduate medical learners within the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine. Ty Greenhalgh

Ty is the Industry Principal for Healthcare at Medigate by Claroty. He has over 30 years experience in introducing disruptive technologies to improve healthcare information management. He is also an ambassador with the HHS 405(d) Program and Task Group which was responsible for the recognized security practices referenced in the new HITECH amendment more commonly known as the Health Industry Cybersecurity Practices: Managing Threats and Protecting Patients. Ty is a member of the Healthcare Sector Coordinating Council and participates on several of the work groups including Legacy Medical Devices and Model Contracts for the Cybersecurity of Medical Devices. He has authored dozens of articles and is a frequent speaker promoting Operational Technology cybersecurity within healthcare.

Quraish Khumri, CISA, M. Sc., B.A is the Manager of Information Security at Fraser Health with 10+ years experience in Technology Risk Management, Cyber security, IT compliance and IT Audit. He has worked for Big 4 accounting firms, a major media conglomerate, and a major clearing house in the U.S. Over the years his initiatives include leading, designing, developing and implementing innovative business processes that keep best cyber security practices in mind.
He has a degree from the University of St. Thomas in Software Engineering with a concentration in Bioinformatics as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College with majors in Computer Science and Business Management. He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor.

Alvin Madar is a Cyber Security Partner in PwC’s Vancouver office with over 20 years of experience in information security. Prior to PwC, Maleena spent 23 years with the RCMP. The majority of her career was focused on fraud related investigations, before helping to create the Provincial Cyber Team in British Columbia. Todd Diakow
Cybersecurity Program Coordinator and Instructor @ Abbotsford School District Careers Department
Todd is the Cybersecurity Program Coordinator and Instructor for the Abbotsford School District Careers Department. He also serves as the Chair of the High School Partnership Program on the ISACA Vancouver Board. With the ongoing labour shortage in the cybersecurity industry in British Columbia and globally, Palo Alto Networks partnered with a number of school districts in BC to promote cybersecurity among high school students, and to certify them with entry level certification, skills and knowledge. Todd has brought this program to fruition in Abbotsford and promotes high school cybersecurity across the province through his role with ISACA. He believes that we shouldn’t wait until students graduate high school, let alone post-secondary before we prepare them for a career in cybersecurity. Let’s work together to bring this about today.

Anthony Green

Anthony Green is currently the Manager of Security Operations and Compliance Manager (MSOC) at Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia. the MSOC`s key responsibility is leading the team in charge of creating the security program. This includes a mixture of managing security staff and security vendors.
Anthony is also currently working with UBC as their Lead for Cybersecurity Academic Programs and is working on creating a professional certificate in cyber security program management. In the evenings Anthony teaches the Cyber Security Micro-Credential at UBC.
Anthony is very enthusiastic about giving back to the local Information Security community through mentoring young graduates and teaching local small businesses the fundamentals of cybersecurity that they would otherwise not have been exposed to.

Ryan Berger is a leading privacy and employment lawyer, with a primary focus on providing strategic advice to businesses and employers. Chris Hughes

Chris Hughes grew up on the east coast of Canada in Nova Scotia. He graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Upon graduation the call of he mountains brought him to Banff, AB with the intention to spend six months learning how to snowboard. Over twenty years later he still calls Banff home. His work experience includes ten years working in Leadership Development at the Banff Centre. Chris then went on to attain his CPA and joined the Town of Banff in 2008 as the Finance Officer, then the Manager of Finance and is now the Director of Corporate Services for the Town. Working for a municipality in a National Park with four million visitors a year brings a lot of unique challenges, but also comes with a lot of unique benefits.
When Chris isn’t working, he likes to spend time with his wife, two children and his dog. He coaches his son’s hockey team and is the president of Banff Minor Hockey. He still loves to snowboard in the winter and is an avid trail runner in the summer.

Teague Lander is a Programmer/Analyst with the Municipal Finance Authority of BC (MFABC). He led the migration to cloud for the MFA’s Financial Management System, manages the system environment, and is AWS Security certified. Teague graduated from the University of Victoria in Computer Science, with a specialization in Computer Communications and Networks, and initially worked in industry on actuarial software prior to joining the MFA in 2019. Teague comes from a large extended family and enjoys spending time with his many siblings, nephews, and nieces.
