Clare Otting is an International Economist at the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration. In this role, she conducts cross-sectoral economic analysis and develops tools to help exporters expand to new markets. Clare received her B.A. in international affairs and M.A. in international economic policy from The George Washington University.

Robin Lathrop is the Branch Chief for EducationUSA in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) at the U.S. Department of State. Lathrop connects with the U.S. higher education community to strengthen international student mobility and campus internationalization. She has managed a variety of international exchange, research, and training programs in Africa, Eurasia, the Middle East, and Asia, and holds B.A. from Wesleyan University and an M.A. in Russian Studies from American University.
