Key Technology Opportunities
We are seeking U.S. suppliers of technologies and solutions that address key industry challenges, including, but not limited to: smart systems, rural and decentralized solutions, operational efficiency, automation, energy efficiency, water loss reduction, IT systems and software, retrofit solutions, materials recovery, and water reuse and recycling.

What and Who?
The U.S. Commercial Service in Brazil will host a half-day event at the U.S. Consulate in São Paulo to showcase U.S.-made technologies, products, equipment, and services for the water and wastewater sector. The program will connect U.S. solution providers with the needs and priorities of Brazil’s leading water utilities and companies. The inaugural edition, held in 2024, brought together more than 100 decision-makers from across Brazil for a full-day program at the U.S. Consulate in São Paulo. Participants included representatives from public and private water utilities, industry associations, regulatory agencies, national and subnational governments, and construction and engineering firms.

Why?
Brazil’s expanding pipeline of water and wastewater concessions – driven by regulatory reform and universal access targets – is generating sustained demand for advanced treatment, efficiency, and digital solutions. More than U.S. $68 billion in investments have been contracted, and an estimated U.S. $8 billion in additional annual investment will be required over the next decade to meet statutory targets. Participation is open to export-ready U.S. companies offering goods or services of U.S. origin or with at least 51% U.S. content:

Small Businesses*: US$ 2,710.00
Medium Businesses*: US$ 3,290.00
Large Businesses*: US$ 3,580.00

*Company size as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The event fee covers all direct and indirect costs associated with organizing the event, including venue, catering, interpretation, materials, and staff support.

Participation is limited to five U.S. companies, accepted after evaluation and screening by the U.S. Commercial Service.
