London, United Kingdom — InEvent, an enterprise event management platform for in-person, hybrid, and virtual events, has announced a new private dining experience designed for event professionals attending Event Tech Live London 2025. Titled “Lights Down, Plates Up – London Edition,” the experience brings together a select group of industry leaders for an evening centered on meaningful conversation, shared ideas, and genuine connection.
Taking place on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the night before Event Tech Live begins, the dinner is intentionally limited to just 14 guests. Set at a waterfront location in London Docklands, the experience is designed to create a quieter, more intentional environment for professionals who want to connect beyond surface-level networking.
As major industry events continue to grow in size and pace, many event professionals struggle to find space for deeper, more valuable conversations. Between packed agendas, crowded show floors, and back-to-back meetings, the opportunity to exchange real insights with peers is often limited. This dinner is designed to solve that by creating a setting where conversations can happen naturally, without pressure or distraction.
“This is about creating the kind of conversations event professionals rarely get during large events,” said the InEvent team. “There’s a lot of noise in our industry right now. New technologies, rising expectations, and constant pressure to prove ROI. What people need is time to step back, share experiences, and learn from each other in a more focused setting.”
The Lights Down, Plates Up experience builds on the success of a previous private dinner hosted during IMEX Las Vegas, where attendees engaged in open discussions around event strategy, operational challenges, and how teams are adapting to increasing demands for measurable outcomes. The London edition continues that approach, bringing together a curated mix of senior event professionals, marketers, and decision-makers.
In addition to the dinner, attendees will receive a complimentary professional headshot captured during the evening, offering practical value ahead of a high-visibility industry event like Event Tech Live.
Attendance is complimentary but strictly limited, with access granted through an approval-based request process. This ensures a balanced and relevant group of attendees, maximizing the value of every conversation at the table.
As part of a growing global series, Lights Down, Plates Up will continue in select cities, each designed with the same goal: fewer people, better conversations, and more meaningful connections.
