InEvent, the enterprise event management platform for in-person, hybrid, and virtual events, participated in Connect North 2025, held January 27–29 at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. During the event, InEvent met with planners, marketers, venues, and event professionals from across the Northern United States and Canada to discuss the growing need for more efficient and connected event operations.
Throughout Connect North 2025, conversations centered heavily on one recurring challenge facing event teams: how to reduce onsite friction while still delivering fast, personalized attendee experiences. Many professionals attending the event shared frustrations around long registration lines, disconnected systems, delayed badge printing, and limited visibility into attendee movement and engagement.
In response to these challenges, InEvent showcased a range of registration and onsite event management solutions designed to simplify operations and improve attendee flow. Demonstrations included self-service check-in kiosks, instant onsite badge printing, customizable badges with QR codes and NFC technology, and real-time attendee management capabilities.
The company also discussed how integrated event platforms are helping organizations move away from fragmented workflows by centralizing registration, engagement, tracking, and onsite operations into a single connected environment.
“Connect North created space for very practical conversations around operational challenges that event teams are facing every day,” said the InEvent team. “The biggest theme we heard repeatedly was the need for speed, simplicity, and better visibility during live events. Teams want fewer moving parts and smoother attendee experiences, especially as expectations continue to rise.”
CEO Pedro Góes and Paul Zickert met directly with attendees throughout the event to discuss event strategy, attendee engagement, and how organizations are approaching registration and onsite technology heading into 2025.
As part of its Connect North presence, InEvent also hosted a meeting-based dinner incentive for attendees who booked conversations with the team during the event. Five selected participants were invited to an exclusive all-expenses-paid dinner experience, creating additional opportunities for relationship-building and more focused conversations outside the show floor environment.
Connect North 2025 reinforced the continued demand for event technology that improves operational efficiency without sacrificing attendee experience. InEvent’s participation reflected the company’s ongoing focus on helping organizations simplify event execution while creating more engaging, data-driven, and scalable event experiences.
