InEvent reiterates its commitment to sustainability with new pledge

ATLANTA, GA [March 23, 2022] — InEvent has reiterated its commitment to environment sustainability with a pledge to instill more positive environmental practices in its operations and among its stakeholders.

The company’s latest sustainability goals focus primarily on climate mitigation with the announcement of its ‘zero-paper policy’, signaling the end of paper products used in sales and marketing activities – including flyers and business cards. InEvent has also reiterated its commitment to conducting operations in compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations; preventing pollution by conserving energy and resources, recycling, reducing waste, and pursuing other source reduction strategies; continually improving its environmental management system; and working together with stakeholders on activities that promote environmental protection and stewardship.

Speaking on the pledge, company CEO, Pedro Góes said: “As a company, it is important to us to play our role in protecting the environment by taking positive steps towards sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint. Nevertheless, we realize that our work does not stop here, and our corporate sustainability programme remains committed to developing more comprehensive sustainability strategies for our organization which can have a positive impact on the world at large.”

InEvent also highlighted its commitment to researching alternative forms of communicating, printing, transmitting and broadcasting information and content to improve public facing issues on waste management, recycling policies and use of reusable materials.
