Judson Althoff
Executive Vice President, Worldwide Commercial Business
Judson Althoff is executive vice president of Microsoft’s Worldwide Commercial Business (WCB), which drives commercial business strategy for enterprise, public sector, small and mid-market, services, developer and partner communities.
Althoff joined the company in March 2013 as president of Microsoft North America. In this role, he was responsible for commercial and public sector customers and partners, the retail and operator channel, and consumer business across the U.S. and Canada. Under his leadership, Microsoft North America achieved double-digit revenue growth in a $30 billion business and triple-digit cloud growth.
Earlier in his career, Althoff spent several years in senior sales roles at Oracle and EMC. He earned a mechanical engineering degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), serves on IIT’s Computer Science Advisory Board and is co-chair of Free the Children’s Seattle WE Day.
Originally from Ohio, Althoff resides in Seattle with his wife.
Nancy Quan is senior vice president and chief technical officer for The Coca-Cola Company. Her areas of responsibility include global leadership of the Technical and Supply Chain community; Strategic Ingredient Procurement; Flavor Supply and Manufacturing; Commercial Products Supply; Strategic Supply Chain; Product Integrity, including Quality, Safety and Environment; Scientific and Regulatory Affairs; Technical Data Intelligence; and Technical Knowledge and Skills.
Susan Zaripheh, Ph.D., previously director of Nutrition Research & Innovation, about a new study from Biofortis Clinical Research and the University of Missouri’s Department of Exercise Physiology and Nutrition. In a study, which was funded by Hillshire Brands, provides good news for the industry in that it shows that adding a realistically attainable amount of protein (as little as 30 grams) to a breakfast meal allows for better satiety through the morning hours.
Kristian Heugh is the head of the Global Opportunity team and leads Global and International investing for Counterpoint Global. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2001 and has 19 years of investment experience. Previously, Heugh was a co-portfolio manager of a technology strategy and an international equity strategy while a member of the Global Research Group, working closely with Counterpoint Global. Prior to that, he was a technology analyst for MSIM’s Sector Rotation multi-cap growth strategies. Heugh received a B.A. in economics from Duke University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Richard Hall is an acknowledged expert on the international food and drinks sector, chairing and speaking at numerous industry conferences as well as offering independent comment in a regular blog. In April 2018, he served as an expert witness in one of the largest court cases in US corporate tax history.
With a degree in Economics and Government from the University of Bath, where he was also Students’ Union President, he worked in the Group Commercial Department of UK dairy market leader Unigate before joining the Dairy Trade Federation as Economic Adviser.
In five years as a Director of the Dairy Trade Federation, he also served as its Head of Public Relations and as Secretary General of the European Federation of Dairy Retailers. From 1987 to 1990 he was Director and General Manager of beverage market consultancy Canadean.
He formed Zenith in 1991 as a specialist business consultancy for the food and drink industries. The company now has 30 staff working for more than 1,000 clients in over 50 countries. It provides a full range of consulting and market information services.
He also chairs FoodBev Media, which he founded in 2000. Its team of 15 staff publishes three business journals and manages the foodbev.com website.
Richard has undertaken many consultancy projects over the past 30 years as well as helping form several industry organisations, including the foundation and chairmanship of the Natural Hydration Council. In 2010 he was Series Consultant for the BBC Money Programme series on The Foods That Make Billions.
John Murphy is executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Coca-Cola Company. In this role, he leads the company’s global finance organization and represents the company with multiple stakeholders, including investors, lenders and rating agencies. He oversees Mergers & Acquisitions, Investor Relations, Tax, Treasury, Audit, Accounting and Controls, Reporting and Analysis, Real Estate and Risk Management. From 2016 to 2018, Murphy served as president of the company’s Asia Pacific group. He was responsible for operations in the group’s five business units: Greater China & Korea, Japan, South East Asia, India & South West Asia and South Pacific. He was also responsible for the company’s Bottling Investments Group, primarily focused on key markets in Southeast and Southwest Asia. From 2013 to 2016, Murphy served as president, South Latin business unit, where he was responsible for operations in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. From 2008 to 2012, he was president, Latin Center business unit, responsible for operations in 31 countries in Central America, the Caribbean and the Andean Region. During more than 30 years with Coca-Cola, Murphy has held a variety of general management, finance and strategic planning roles around the world. He began his career in 1988 as an international internal auditor and served in expanded responsibilities in various finance, planning and operations roles at Coca-Cola Japan and subsequently worked for the Coca-Cola bottling partner in Singapore, F&N Coca-Cola Ltd. Before joining Coca-Cola, Murphy worked as an auditor for Price Waterhouse in Dublin, Ireland. Murphy is a member of the boards of Coca-Cola FEMSA and The Coca-Cola Foundation. Murphy earned a bachelor's degree in Business Studies from Trinity College in Dublin and a diploma in professional accounting from University College in Dublin. He qualified as a chartered accountant of the Irish Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Breakthrough technology takes plastic from the ocean and uses it in a Coca-Cola bottle.Today, Coca-Cola unveiled its first ever sample bottle made using recovered and recycled marine plastics, demonstrating that one day, even ocean debris could be used in recycled packaging for food or drinks.

We’ve listened and learned from the public health community, our customers, associates and our consumers to understand the most appropriate role we can play to support the fight against obesity in a way that is credible, transparent, and beneficial for everyone. Today our focus is on reducing sugar in our drinks and promoting more no- and low-sugar options as we work to support the World Health Organization’s recommendation that people limit added sugars to 10% of their daily caloric intake.
