InEvent launches online community for event profs.

Relevant virtual communities for event profs are more necessary than ever, as virtual events are the new normal. And to put the industry together, InEvent is launching its official online community for event marketing professionals to discuss trends and best practices of this moment of the industry.

The InEvent Community is an exchange and networking space to support learning and advice to marketers. At this very moment, this exchange will help to drive virtual events development and also be a place where pros can get tips on hot topics such as what tools to use, how to get sponsors, event planning, event tech, event jobs and discuss other pain points with other users and fellow colleagues going through the same challenges.

1. What’s in this community for me?

With the popularity of virtual events, it is no wonder why communities have become so popular and effective. This kind of action is taking online conferences to whole new level and businesses back to the flourishing track.

At InEvent Community, event pros and marketers meet to get updated on relevant industry content easily. Creating this exclusive space allows customers, partners and friends to interact between them, becoming part of the creative process of each other.

It’s amazing how a strong community like that can help us brainstorm ideas, create processes, blueprint and lay out the best experience for our attendees. Having this kind of input coming from multiple stakeholders, it gets safer to assume that who’s a part of the InEvent Community will make their ideas thrive.

2. Why should I join InEvent MeetUps Community?

We have already been using our LinkedIn page, as well as our blog and bi-weekly newsletter to provide relevant content to the corporate events community. But we were missing a way of making the most of their time. So now our objective is to generate maximum decentralization of relevant and updated stories. We know that people want to network and interact with each other, without the need of having a moderator.

We will use our InEvent Community to develop relationships, not customers. Our very active base will be invited to get involved, posting and promoting their contents also, engaging the community as a whole. Commenting on each other’s topics, such as blog posts, recommendations, videos, etc, will be possible via a real time conversation.

3. Who am I getting the chance to network with?

Whenever you have special promotion, share it with the community. You can post about your events too and even invite people to guest blog partnerships. Having your content, insights and your business viewed by hundreds and even thousands is what we aim for. It’s a quick way to attract attention and find partners for your current next projects.

Use lists as much as possible. People love lists because they are easy to read and easy to pass on to their friends. When you produce blogs or articles with lists, those who find the information you provide useful are more likely to pass the link onto others via Facebook, Twitter, or another social networking site.

Make sure you respond to any question or comment left on your social media page. Check notifications often and read the messages in your inbox several times a day. A great way to do this is to set it up where you receive an email every time someone leaves a comment. Keep in mind that everything you’re writing as a comment or a response to one person can be viewed by anyone who goes to your site.
