Atlanta, Georgia, March 2026. As event teams prepared for a busy year of conferences, trade shows, customer events, and meetings, one theme recurred in conversations across the industry: event professionals are being asked to deliver greater impact with greater efficiency.
Those insights emerged throughout InEvent's recent YETI Camino™ Tote Giveaway campaign, which invited event professionals to participate in strategy sessions focused on event planning, attendee engagement, operational workflows, and event technology strategies for 2026.
The campaign concluded with four winners selected from participating event professionals: Debbie Crusco, LeeNaura King, Chrissy Whitcomb, and Sandra Bouwhuis.
While the giveaway provided an opportunity to recognize members of the event community, the conversations themselves offered a valuable snapshot of the priorities shaping event programs in 2026.
Across strategy sessions with planners, marketers, event operations teams, and event leaders, several themes emerged consistently. Many teams are looking for ways to simplify fragmented event workflows, improve visibility into event performance, streamline registration and attendee management processes, and better demonstrate event ROI to stakeholders.
Organizations are also preparing for increasingly ambitious event calendars while balancing budget considerations, growing attendee expectations, and the need to deliver measurable business outcomes.
"The conversations were just as valuable as the campaign itself," said the InEvent team. "Event professionals are navigating increasingly complex responsibilities, and many are focused on finding practical ways to improve efficiency without sacrificing attendee experience. We heard a strong desire for solutions that simplify operations while providing better visibility into event performance."
The YETI Camino™ Tote Giveaway was designed to foster meaningful industry conversations while recognizing the professionals responsible for delivering successful events across organizations worldwide.
Throughout the campaign, participants discussed upcoming conferences, trade shows, internal events, customer programs, and strategic initiatives planned for the remainder of 2026. Many also explored opportunities to consolidate event workflows, improve reporting, strengthen attendee engagement, and reduce operational complexity through modern event technology.
As the industry continues to evolve, InEvent remains committed to creating opportunities for event professionals to share ideas, exchange best practices, and learn from one another's experiences.
